Theory Food proudly supports the Eat a Rainbow Foundation, with 10% of corporate catering revenue going to the foundation.

The Eat a Rainbow Foundation helps vulnerable families and tamariki going through crisis by producing a range of nourishing premade meals. The meals are prepared by professional chefs, with many nutritionist-approved and packed with nature's rainbow foods.

The meals are distributed to families via nine local charity partners such as Gabby's Starlit Hope and Roderique Hope in environmentally friendly packaging. The meals are prepared to the standards of a commercial product, so that the families receive our best.

Meals are provided to vulnerable families, such as carers supporting tamariki undergoing cancer treatment, families requiring emergency housing or those admitted to the Taranaki Base Hospital Children's ward outside of meal times. It is hoped that the ready-made nutritious meals help in some way alleviate the challenges they face.

This year the foundation is aiming to produce over 6000 meals, as the demand for meals is higher than ever.
